ELLE DECORATION EDITOR-IN-CHIEF APPEARS ON NEW CHANNEL 4 HOMES AND ARCHITECTURE SERIES

ELLE Decoration’s Editor-In-Chief Michelle Ogundehin is making her latest appearance on the nation’s televisions as part of a new Channel 4 series on home and architecture, ‘Inside Out Homes’.

The seven episodes reveal how regular homeowners have transformed their properties to become ‘inside outside’ homes, in other words, charting their quest to get more light and space into their lives. From garden cinemas to outside kitchens, sliding roofs to external glass walls, the home as we know it is changing as the boundaries between house and garden blur.

Michelle appears alongside architect Zac Monro, engineer Monty Ravenscroft, and Petersham Nurseries head gardener Rosie Bines, who tear down the walls of seven houses across Britain, using cutting-edge technology, imagination and ingenuity to create homes and outside spaces that unlock the potential of living inside and out like never before.

Explaining her involvement, Michelle says: “My role was to show the architect, Zac Monro, some inspiring examples of ultimate Inside Outside homes so he could get ideas for the projects he was undertaking. Also to leave the viewers with some tips on how they could make the most of open plan spaces or get a little of the inside Outside look without having to knock their house down.”
